King Arthur is a legendary hero, who killed his only son to save his kingdom.

But was that really heroic?

Elaine thinks there was a better way.

Funny, quirky, with a heart of “gold,” Elaine’s wizardry rivals Merlin’s. Demonstrating the wisdom Arthur lacks while overcoming obstacles in her quest to win over Lancelot, she transports us through time to witness the rise and fall of the King and the Knights of the Round Table.

This is Arthur Reborn, The Musical.

Character Descriptions

There is no specific ethnicity for the characters, other than Mordred, as a child of Arthur and Morgause should reflect their ethnicity

The score is composed in alto range with vocal options for female characters and baritone range with vocal options for male characters but can be re-keyed as necessary.

Young Arthur:  Male identifying, Teens-20s.  The future King, gifted of speech but rash in decision-making.  Could be doubled with Mordred.

Outside of a trapdoor and thunder and lightning effects, minimal staging.

Costumes reflecting the past and present are of simple fashion.
